JOKE: The difference between neo-conservatives and women?

Q: What is the difference between neo-conservatives and women?

A: You can sometimes find women on a battlefield.

                                                                                                    -Taki Theodoracopulos

For those of you who don't know what a "neoconservative" is, here is my defination: the average neo-conservative could be described as a Jewish ex-Communist of the Trotskyite persuasion, who was a Vietnam antiwar activist, but works at a Washington DC think tank, advocating that American foreign policy be made Israel, and endorsed by Wall Street Bankers and Oil Tycoons.

Goodbye Cindy Sheehan: the failure of the liberal/leftist dominated antiwar movement.

"This is my resignation letter as the 'face' of the American anti-war movement. I am going to take whatever I have left and go home. I am going to go home and be a mother to my surviving children and try to regain some of what I have lost...The most devastating conclusion that I reached this morning, however, was that (my son) Casey did indeed die for nothing...I have tried every (day) since he died to make his sacrifice meaningful. Casey died for a country which cares more about who will be the next American Idol than how many people will be killed in the next few months while Democrats and Republicans play politics with human lives."  -Cindy Sheehan, Anti-war activist / AFP: Prominent US anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan abandons campaign.

Cindy Sheehan has finally acknowledged that she made a lot mistakes in the long, futile crusade against the Iraq War, in which she became the "face of the American anti-war movement."

First, she allowed herself to become one in a long line of "useful idiots" for the neo-Marxist Left-over Left which dominates the anti-war movement. It seems one of the enduring legacies of the American Left since 1968 was to alienate working folks with their social views, and sending them fleeing into the arms of the Republican Party.

Another mistake was underestimating the lack of conviction of the American public, who want a way out of Iraq without a "defeat" for the United States. Just because the public doesn't like seeing the ugliness on television coming out of Iraq doesn't mean they are willing to accept the consequenses of an immediate US pullout.

Finally, Sheehan and the anti-war movement underestimated the complete and utter lack of principles of the Democrat Party, whose disingenous cowardness is the reason we are in Iraq today

The most effective anti-war criticism of the Iraq War from the beginning has come the ranks of the libertarian and traditional conservative right. But that's another story.

Immigration Deform from the duo that gave us No Child Left Behind...

WASHINGTON (AP) - In a striking reach across party lines, the White House and key lawmakers agreed Thursday on a sweeping immigration plan to grant legal status to millions of people in the country unlawfully.....Sealed after months of secretive bargaining, the deal mandates bolstered border security and a high-tech employment verification system to prevent illegal workers from getting jobs...The proposal constitutes a far-reaching change in the immigration system that would admit future arrivals seeking to put down roots in the U.S. based on their skills, education levels and job experience, limiting the importance of family ties. the proposed plan would shift from an immigration system primarily weighted toward family ties toward one with preferences for people with advanced degrees and sophisticated skills. Republicans have long sought such revisions, which they say are needed to end "chain migration" that harms the economy. -Deal May Legalize Millions of Immigrants AP via My way May 17, 2007

What a duo Bush and Kennedy make. Both trust fund babies of ruthless Northeastern Banking families who have never worked a honest day in their life.  The last thing this duo worked out was No Child Left Behind, or more accurately "No Teacher's Union Left Behind."  That bill was supposed to assure parents that the school system was actually educating their kids by requiring tests to evaluate the performance of the teacher.  But, turns out, the tests are written by the teachers themselves and the whole system is gamed to cover up the problems. Might as well have let the students grade themselves, and saved MILLIONS in taxpayer subsidies to an already bloated educational cartel.

Now the same team that caved into the special interests on education, wants to do the same thing with immigration. It's another backroom deal that Bush is going to try to ram through the Congress with no time for debate or the public to find out what is going on. Essentially, it's the same old idea that got rejected last year: Bush and Kennedy want to turn over America's immigration policy to the Corporations. Who gets in and why will shift from the public to unscrupulous businesses and big corporations.

Rather the adopt this turkey, I'd opt for Mexico's immigration policy!

Look, if American businesses need workers with advanced degrees and high-tech skills, then doesn't that mean that "No Child Left Behind" isn't working? Isn't that what it was supposed to fix? To make Americans competitive in the "New World Order"?  It's not because a ton of American workers wouldn't like those high-paying jobs. It just means that the Department of the Education, the colleges and universities, the Teachers Unions, and the American Education Association are just plain not doing what they are being paid paying good money for them to do. Why don't we fix that instead of importing the most highly educated foreign workers, which are desperatedly needed in their own countries.

It's very simple guys---first prove you can enforce border security, and then after a few years we'll talk about "guest worker programs" and dealing with the illegals already here.  In the meantime, cut off the welfare to the illegals, the food stamps, the subsidized housing, the small business loans, the free education, free medical care...and these guys will just go home. Obviously, they are not here for the wages they earn, which every ordinary American knows you can't live on without going on welfare.

Be like a SPY in your own land

A Google News search on the trial of 2 AIPAC staffers for espionage confirms what I already know...the media conglomerates are NOT covering the AIPAC espionage trial.  It's an interesting case because the alleged conspirators, both high level staffers at AIPAC, were motivated by their dedication to the State of Israel, not financial gain.  Consequently, it is being argued that the conspirators were just engaging in their First Amendment "Free Speech" rights.

It really makes one wonder about all of these dual citizenships we have in the United States right now. I mean if you so ideologically or religiously identified with another nation-state, that you are willing to spy against the country you live in, then how can you be an American in the full sense of the word?

Since the corporate media isn't covering it, catch up on this important case by reading Justin Raimondo's article in American Conservative Magazine.

Kucinich's Impeachment Bill against Cheney...

It's interesting that the number assigned to the Kucinich's bill to Impeach Vice President Cheneyl was inspired by the number of American dead on the day it was introduced.

You won't find the Democrat Leadership getting any more excited about impeaching Cheney for conspiracy to invent false evidence then they are about any bill to end the war.  Any talk of a "conspiracy" to incite the war has the potential to backfire on the Democrats, who are vulnerable to the charge from their Left of giving President Bush a blank check to go to war without questioning why.

Contact your Congressman and tell him to support the bill anyway.

If this is war for Oil, then where is the OIL?

There’s a lot of money to pay for this that doesn’t have to be U.S. taxpayer money, and it starts with the assets of the Iraqi people…and on a rough recollection, the oil revenues of that country could bring between $50 and $100 billion over the course of the next two or three years…We’re dealing with a country that can really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon.” - Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, March 2003

One of the worst failures of the Iraq war has been the inability of the United States to get Iraqi Oil production to get back to pre-war levels.

The reconstruction of Iraq's civilian infrastructure was supposed to be paid for by the Iraqis themselves from the revenue of the oil in the ground. Because there are no oil revenues as promised, it's the US government that is picking up the bill. Billions of US foreign aid disappearing in the corruption and payola that marks the reconstruction being supervised by the Bush Administration.

The extra $40 or so that it costs to fill up your average pickup truck is having a dreadful effect on the economic prospects of the average Joe or Jill. There was more Iraqi Oil reaching the world market when the US was imposing SANCTIONS against Iraq then now when we are occupying the country! What little oil is still being pumped out of the Iraqi oil fields is being siphoned off by corruption and back room deals.  What’s worse, nobody sees the Iraqi oil getting onto the world market anytime soon!

No wonder the Iraqis are laughing at our government’s pitiful begging for them to accept “benchmarks” for establishing an army to maintain law and order? Why would the Iraqis believe us when we say we are there to rebuild “democracy”, when we are forcing them to sign contracts with American Oil Companies that do not give them a fair share of the profits of their OIL! It’s their OIL, not ours. They have no reason to cooperate with us, and every reason to stall for time until Americans finally lose patience with the war, and force the political elite in the United States to give up this pointless war.

More Democrat Doubletalk on the war....

"The Democratic-controlled House defeated legislation Thursday to require the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq within nine months, then pivoted quickly to a fresh challenge of President Bush's handling of the unpopular war...The vote on the nine-month withdrawal measure was 255-171...The bill drew the support of 169 Democrats and two Republicans. There were 59 Democrats and 196 Republicans opposed." House rejects nine-month Iraq withdrawal AP via Yahoo! News Thursday, May 10, 2007

"A few hours later, the House passed legislation providing funds for the war grudgingly, in two installments. The first portion would cover costs until Aug. 1 — $42.8 billion to buy equipment and train Iraqi and Afghan security forces....Under the bill, it would take a summertime vote by Congress to free an additional $52.8 billion, the money needed to cover costs through the Sept. 30 end of the fiscal year". - House Defies Bush On Iraq Funding: Passes Limited Funding Bill, Rejects 9-Month Exit Plan; Bush Signals Flexibility On Benchmarks CBS News May 14, 2007

Bush pressured Iraqi leaders to move swiftly on a number of long-pending measures, including legislation to share Iraq's oil wealth, hold provincial elections and update the constitution...."They have got to speed up their clock," the president said...."One message I have heard from people of both parties is that benchmarks make sense, and I agree."...his chief of staff, Joshua Bolten, would talk with congressional leaders "to find common ground" on benchmarks. President Open to Benchmarks in Iraq Measure, New York Times, May 10, 2007

The Democrats are behaving exactly how I predictedconfuse the public with a lot of shifty talk into believing that the Democrats are in opposition to the war, while doing everything they can behind the scenes to make sure the war is going full blast right through Election Day!

The "U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Health and Iraq Accountability Act" is what the Democrats called their "alternative" bill. It even sounds disingenuous!  What the Democrats actually did is vote down the real withdrawal plan in favor of a war funding bill full of misleading rhetoric about "benchmarks" and "troop readiness."

What the Democrats didn't tell you is that all of the provisions in the bill could waived by the President at any time!  Nor does matter to the Iraqis what "benchmarks" the Congress imposes, because the Iraqis will go on ignoring any "benchmarks" that are asked of them, just like they have for the last 3 years. The Iraqis know they have the US Government in a trap of it's own making. And it looks like their plan is let Americans bleed until our Government finally gives up!

Next, the President vetoed the Democrat "alternative" funding bill, while conveniently paving the way for a "compromise" with the Democrats that saves face for both sides. Bottom Line: The well-funded War Party triumphs over the will of the American People again. The public gets a false sense that some sort of "progress" is being made to end the war, and the War Party gets to keep it's war for another year or two.

The only way for the Iraqis to take responsibility for themselves is for the US to unilaterally withdraw all of our military forces from the Mideast, including releasing the Iraqi Government from all those "Big Oil" contracts we've forced on them. But it's going to take a long time for the political elite in the United States to agree to that. So, the war will drag on and on and on.

An in-depth analysis of the so-called "debate" last week over the war funding can be found in Justin Raimondo's commentary, Benchmarks and Bull ---t.

A clerk at Circuit City foiled the homegrown terrorists...

A male employee who works at Circuit City behind the Moorestown Mall is the unsung hero that first enabled authorities to foil the Fort Dix terror plot. Circuit City corporate spokesman Jim Babb confirmed this morning that a current employee was asked by one of the alleged terrorists to dub a Jihadist training VHS cassette into a DVD. The clerk alerted Mount Laurel police about the video in January 2006, who then contacted the FBI, which launched the investigation....Babb declined to give the clerk's name.

At the office for Rep. Jim Saxton, R-Mount Holly, spokesman Jeff Sagnip Hollendonner said the congressman had not spoken to the clerk but that the office was considering sending a thank you note. "He is obviously someone who is alert and acted in a very responsible way and he very likely saved lives, there's no question about that," Sagnip Hollendonner said. "So he's a hero because of that." Circuit City employee was hero in busting terror plot.
-Home News Tribune Online By Matt Katz, Gannett New Jersey 5/9/07

It's amazing that a clerk probably earning minimum wage at retail store is the only reason that this band of blundering Islamic zeolots was even discovered. Obviously, these homegrown terrorists were so confident that in our society of "political correctness" and acceptance of "multiculturalism" and "diversity", nobody would find a video of a Islamic hate fete the least bit out of the ordinary.

This is only the most recent incident in a long list of criminal acts of violence inflicted on us by recent immigrants. Only when the US borders are secure, and immigration reduced to level that can be monitored and managed will we truely be safe from foreign terrorists.

Obviously, the lack of immigration enforcement that allowed 3 illegal aliens that formed this terrorist cell to live openly among us for years is not lost on Representative Saxton, whose legislative record on immigration reform has been excellent up until recently.

While a reward for the Circuit City clerk would be a great idea, he's better serve the interests of his constituents by convincing his fellow Democrats to ignore the wealthy special interests behind the pro-immigration movement, and support Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colorado) and his Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus agenda.

The homegrown terrorists contradict neo-con myths about Iraq, the nature of terrorism and unrestrained immigration!

Federal authorities have arrested six men identified as "radical Islamists" and accused them of plotting to "kill as many American soldiers as possible" in an attack on the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey….The men were identified in court papers as Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, 22, of Cherry Hill, a U.S. citizen born in Jordan and employed as a cabdriver in Philadelphia; Serdar Tatar, 23, of Philadelphia, born in Turkey and legally residing in the U.S. who worked at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Philadelphia and as a deliveryman at his father's pizzeria: and Agron Abdullahu, 24, of Buena Vista, N.J., an ethnic Albanian born in the former Yugoslavia who is legally residing in the U.S. and works at a Shop-Rite Supermarket….Also identified were three brothers, Eljvir Duka, 23, Dritan Duka, 28, and Shain Duka, 26, all of Cherry Hill, who are ethnic Albanians born in the former Yugoslavia who reside illegally in the U.S. and operate Colonial Roofing and National Roofing. 6 held in plot to hit Fort Dix By Jerry Seper, THE WASHINGTON TIMES, May 9, 2007

The FBI first got wind of the alleged plot in January 2006, after an unidentified store clerk alerted police to a video that showed the men firing assault weapons, calling for jihad and yelling "God is great" in Arabic, officials said. The men had submitted the video file to the store so that it could be copied onto a DVD, authorities said. According to the indictments, the video came from firearms training in the Poconos. Six Charged in Plot To Attack Fort Dix - 'Jihadists' Said to Have No Ties to Al-Qaeda By Dale Russakoff and Dan Eggen Washington Post Staff Writers Wednesday, May 9, 2007; Page A01

The political elite in the United States is committed to 3 premises that common sense would tell us are downright silly: 1) The occupation of Iraq has prevented terrorist attacks on domestic targets; 2) Al Qaeda is the source of all terrorist plans in the US; and; 3) open borders and unrestrained immigration are not a threat to American's domestic security.  Common sense tells us that all three premises are disasterously false.

The advisability of trusting common sense over think tank utopianism was validated by the discovery of this home-grown terrorist cell.  Notice that 3 Eastern Europeans Muslims in the conspiracy were not only living illegally in the United States, but operating a business! The others were born here, but the citizenship had failed to make them AMERICANS in spirit or allegiance.

These lunatics were so brazen and open that they took a video tape containing footage of them shouting Islam terrorist slogans and practicing military tactics to a retail store to be made into a DVD, as if it contained nothing more then a family picnic! The only reason they were caught was a employee turned their video over to the local police, who alerted the FBI!

No thanks to President Bush and his lame Department of Homeland Security. The DHS seems to be better at spying on native born American citizens and providing a slush fund for local political patronage then it does at catching creeps like these six guys.

There is only one solution to the America’s quagmire in the Mideast and that is complete and total separation from the Islamic World. That means a serious effort by the Federal Government to seek alternatives to fossil fuels so the US economy can be free of reliance on foreign oil.

It also means reducing all immigration to a trickle that can be easily managed and absorbed in the mainstream. The current process of becoming an American citizen should be more then a couple of lectures on diversity and multiculturalism and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Applicants for American citizenship must prove not only fluency in English, but complete renouncement of foreign allegiances, and assimilation into the American majority mainstream. No more dual citizenships!
